After a week of busily creating yummy meals for my family I crashed yesterday and came down with a 24 hour bug. I didn’t and couldn’t eat a thing which meant the end of my cooking journey this week. The boys had to do with leftovers for dinner last night.
Today I thought I would do a wrap up of the meals I created during the week.
Gourmet Garden sent me 6 tubes of their herb paste in this cute cooler bag (which I am sure will get much use for taking my lunch to work).
Admittedly I had never used these before but knew of them well. I do have a herb garden which has not received the love lately that it should of.
Saying that, Gourmet Garden herbs have allowed me to add some extra flavour/zing/spice to my cooking.
I received Chilli, Chunky Garlic, Basil, Thyme, Coriander, and Thai Seasoning. My favourite………Thai Seasoning wins hands down.
This will become a staple in my fridge as it allows for many Thai based meals to be created. Of my head I can think of:
Thai Fish Cakes
Green Thai Chicken Curry
Many many more when my brain returns
I had lots of fun this week cooking with a new ingredient and will continue to look for ways to add them into my cooking.
