I love making homemade ice blocks for my little boys and they love that I make them. Making different flavour combinations is the fun part and also knowing what’s in them is even better. The natural colours of the fruits make for fun ice blocks.
These Kiwi Fruit and Peach Yoghurt Ice Blocks combine the ice block texture of kiwi fruit with the creamy peach yoghurt flavour, a perfect balance.
3 Peeled Kiwi Fruits – make sure they are ripe
4 Small peaches, peeled and deseeded
100gm Vanilla Yoghurt
LETS PUT IT ALL TOGETHER
1. Using a blender or blitz 2 go place the kiwi fruit. Blitz until smooth. Pour into ice block moulds, 2/3 of the way up.
2. Wash out the blender and place the peaches and yoghurt, blitz until smooth. Then gently spoon onto top of the kiwi fruit.
3. Gently place the ice block sticks into the molds and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours.
