Christmas Tree Pinecones

Our neighbours have two pine trees which lovingly gives us its Pinecones along with its pine needles (which are a nuisance). I am embracing the trees kindness and letting the kids make some cute Christmas Tree Pinecones.

Inspired by my “Pinecones” search on Pinterest we gathered our supplies today and set about making them.
You will need:
Pinecones
Paint
PVA Glue
Glitter
Glitter Glue
Sparkly Pom Poms
Paintbrushes
Plastic plates
I found all of these supplies at Masters this morning but you will find them in any craft of $1 shop.
Over a plastic plate, let the kids paint the Pinecones, while the paint is still wet sprinkle with glitter. Glitter glue is also great for littlies and is less mess.
Put the PVA glue on to the pom poms and push in between the gaps on the pinecone.

Allow to dry and then use to decorate the house, tree give as gifts to the grandparents etc.
What do you think?
