REVIEW & GIVEAWAY – Disposable Paper Servingware, plus Sweet & Salty Popcorn Recipe

When I had the chance to review this product I was super excited as I new that the Kindy Easter Day was coming up which meant bring a plate of food. Usually I would cram some cupcakes on a normal disposable plastic plate and hope for the best (plate bends, cling wrap doesn’t stick etc).

This year I was able to send in some Sweet & Salty Popcorn, here is the simple recipe that can be made in 5 minutes.

1 Cup Popping Corn
1 Tbs Olive Oil
Salt, to taste
Icing Sugar, to taste

1. Pop the popping corn kernels in a large pot on the stove with the olive oil. Keep the lid on and keep the kernels moving by shaking the pot until they pop. Remove from heat once the popping decreases.
2. Place into serving bowl and dust with salt and icing sugar to taste.

I placed the popcorn in the Flat Pack Serving Bowl which simply opens up to a bowl. I then wrapped completely in cling wrap and I was done, no worrying about getting the bowl back in the afternoon.

The other products in the range are: Large Serving Platters that would be perfect for transporting cut sandwiches, cupcakes, fruit salad, brownies, slab cake – the list could go on.

Here they are with the Hot Cross Buns I made.

They also have Small Platters which would be perfect for biscuits, crackers, carrot and celery sticks you name it.

The undersides have a lovely design and would look perfect on any party table, picnic rug or park bench.

I’m always looking for options that don’t mean I have to chase bowls, so there are many many ways these would come to good use in our house.

Greek Orthodox Easter is 5 weeks away
So, I’d use these to display
A beautiful selection of biscuits and sweets
And dyed eggs, and tasty treats!
They’d be so handy and reduce the mess
As I try my best to impress!!

I would use them camping so my food was well presented but had limited stuff to bring back with me. We do eat with our eyes so pays to have your food looking nice.

A perfect way to display what I cook
They’d be great to take with us camping
altho my friends would say I’m Glamping!
I must admit I’d struggle to toss them away
And most likely try to wash them and use another day!!
